After long discussion they decided to bring a fridge from their headquarters to the exhibition place. The fridge was full of meat and had been turned off several months before.
A quote from Oprah was written under the fridge:
“ Breathe. Let go. And remind yourself that this very moment is the only one you know have for sure”

At the opening the people were warned not to open the fridge.
During the opening the world cup semifinal Spain- Germany was watched which they projected just outside the place.

The last exhibition was 5plus1is45 was organized by more then 45 photography students of the Academy in Den Haag and partly managed by ‘dit is dit’.

Earlier their were works of artists Paul yes we can – the familyman Bruijninckx & Thorsten Nass and music of Marco ‘pachacha’ Santos (with his band Papo Reto) shown during Hoogtij#15 (check their site for the total program of the cultural tour in Den Haag).

Before that their were statues of the Syl Laterveer and pictures of Jaap Toet, 2 standard Spuilebomen guests. Again their was ive music by Marco ‘pachacha’ Santos and friends on the opening night.

Now the building is torn down.

The players got a ‘tour de force’ assignment book with quite some assignments which they could never complete all in the little time they had. Also an ‘inspiration bag’ with divers objects was given to each team.

Some examples of the (photo) assignments:

- Make a selfportrait (‘zelfportret’) of your group with this picture (the first pic. you see on the left) as an example. – Climb in a streetlight (‘lantarenpaal’), the higher you get, the more points you earn. – Take a photo of one of you together with a foreigner. The more exotic the foreigner, the more points you can get. – Take a picture of a cat (‘poes’). – Light the fireworks in the inspirationbag (‘rotjeknor’). – Take a picture of one of you, together with the most ill looking person you can find (‘terminale patiënt’).

crap (also second prize, most spontaneous team)
fotostudio jaja (honourable indication,also because of solo participation)
bladblaasters (first prize, most energetic team)
kunst fm (also nice)
de katina’s (disqualified because of participation of members of jury)

Although not so many competed, some of the participants declared that they had a experience not to forget, which gave also this action a satisfying result for us.

Because ‘dit is dit’ won ‘the Komeet’ in 2006, a cultural prize, the organization of PMSF saw us as talents so they invited us to participate…....

the 2 acts were also made possible by Tjeerd and Johan & Satisch (from ‘Shaolin Ryu’).

Tjeerd was a friendly lad which had no problem walking around the festival in his ‘adams suit’ for ‘dit is dit’s first act.

Ex-european champion freefight Satisch and his buddy Johan could surprise the audience differently. The big friendly guys hired by ‘dit is dit’ started a fight right after the applause of the last official act. This unannounced act lasted less then a minute, but the impact, (even with the people who knew) was good.
